Questions and answers

What is Gas Contractor Connect?

Gas Contractor Connect is a free public directory for the natural-gas industry. Contractors and related companies publish listings so they can be found by location and capability. Utilities, pipeline operators, project owners, developers, construction teams, and other industry organizations can search those listings without creating an account.

Is Gas Contractor Connect free?

Yes. Gas Contractor Connect does not charge contractors, consultants, utilities, pipeline operators, project owners, or other host companies to participate. There are no listing fees, contact fees, lead fees, referral fees, commissions, response fees, acceptance fees, or pay-to-play placement fees. Free Seeker Accounts and Express Interest for eligible published listers are also free of those fees.

Is Gas Contractor Connect a membership association?

No. Gas Contractor Connect is a free independent directory, not a membership association. There are no annual dues, membership tiers, paid-placement packages, or required meetings.

Who may apply for a listing?

Natural-gas contractors and related companies may apply for a free listing on List Your Company. Applying is free. No account is created at application. Business-email verification is required, and verifying your email submits the application for company eligibility review. Eligibility is not guaranteed.

What is the difference between company eligibility review and publication review?

Company eligibility review determines whether a company may create a private listing after invitation. Publication review checks the completed public profile before it can appear in the directory. Eligibility approval is not publication.

What does “published” mean—and what does it not mean?

Published means the listing passed Gas Contractor Connect’s publication workflow and can appear in public search. It is not an endorsement, certification, licensing determination, safety determination, or guarantee of the company’s work. GCC reviews application and listing information to help confirm company identity, the submitter’s connection to the company, and the basic consistency of the information provided. This does not verify or endorse qualifications, safety, licensing, insurance, performance, or fitness for a project. We never describe a listed company as “vetted.”

What information is public versus private?

Ordinary public search does not require sign-in. Company pages show the public information the company chose to display. Some representative contact details are limited to signed-in Seekers to reduce scraping and misuse. Private verification information stays out of the public directory. Seeker-protected contact details are shown only after an authorized unlock.

What is a Free Seeker Account?

A Free Seeker Account unlocks Seeker-protected contact details on published contractor listings. Directory search remains available without an account. Gas Contractor Connect does not charge for Seeker accounts, and signup is not Cambri sales outreach.

How do Project Requests work?

Verified project organizations can create a Project Request, complete staff review, and choose when to publish a public-safe summary. Open summaries are searchable publicly for 90 days and may be renewed during the final 30 days before expiration. Public pages show public-safe fields only—not private requester contacts, staff notes, or messages.

What is Express Interest?

Eligible published GCC listers may send a protected expression of interest on open Project Requests. Express Interest is free of request, lead, referral, response, acceptance, and commission fees. Gas Contractor Connect does not administer bidding, selection, contracting, or payment.

Does GCC bid, price, award, contract, or take payment?

No. Gas Contractor Connect helps people find and contact companies and browse open Project Request summaries. It does not broker work, administer bidding, set prices, award contracts, process payments, or become a party to your agreement. Any decision to contact, hire, or work with a listed company—or to respond to a directory visitor—remains yours.

What is Spotlight? Can placement be purchased?

On eligible business days, one eligible published company may appear as the sitewide Spotlight. Spotlight participation is free, cannot be purchased, is not an endorsement, and does not guarantee inquiries or work. Spot Points support a free and fair rotation based on time waiting and prior Spotlight appearances.

How does Gas Contractor Connect relate to Cambri Compliance?

Gas Contractor Connect is operated by Cambri Compliance LLC. Directory activity—and Project Request activity—is not used for unsolicited Cambri Compliance sales outreach. Directory information is not sold or used to place participating companies into unsolicited Cambri Compliance marketing campaigns.

What about Industry Support Services and Suppliers?

Industry Support Services is Coming Soon: a future separate directory for professional companies that support the natural-gas, propane, pipeline, and utility industries—not contractor listings. A Suppliers destination is also Coming Soon. Neither is live as a searchable directory today.

How do I report a problem or contact GCC?

Use the Contact page for general questions and reports. Privacy and Terms pages describe how information is handled and the rules for using the site.
