Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026
Gas Contractor Connect is operated by Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to users.
The directory is designed primarily for businesses and industry professionals in the natural-gas industry.
Overview
Gas Contractor Connect is a directory that helps natural-gas contractors, consultants, and related service businesses ("providers") be found by utilities, pipeline operators, project owners, and other visitors. Gas Contractor Connect is operated by Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab) ("Cambri Compliance LLC," "we," "us," or "our").
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, what appears publicly in the directory, and what stays private. It applies to everyone who visits the site, submits a listing application, creates a provider account, or contacts us.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to operate the site securely.
Listing and application information
When a business applies for or maintains a directory listing, we collect company information (company name, headquarters location, website, description, service areas, and capabilities) and applicant or representative information (name, business email, optional phone number, job title or relationship to the company).
Some of this information is used only to verify that a listing represents a real, legitimate business and is submitted by someone connected to it. Verification information is not published; only the approved public listing fields appear in the directory.
Account information
Accepted providers who create a workspace account have an email address and password (managed securely through our authentication provider, Supabase) associated with their account, along with the listing content they choose to add or edit.
Contact form information
When you use the /contact form, we collect the topic you select, your name, business email, and message, plus optional company name and phone number if you provide them. This information is stored privately and is used only to respond to your inquiry, investigate reports, and improve the service. It is never displayed publicly.
Project Requests
When you create a Project Request with an active Free Seeker Account, we collect the information you submit for staff review, including project description fields, broad location, timing, capability needs, organization name, optional organization visibility preference, and private contact details used for staff communication and account notifications.
After GCC staff review, only the approved public-safe summary fields you choose to publish appear in public browse and search. Private contact details, exact site location, staff notes, instruction history, and account identity remain private unless you later choose to share selected contact details inside a protected Express Interest conversation.
Express Interest conversations store message content, thread metadata, optional contact-share records, and related moderation records so participants can continue the conversation inside Gas Contractor Connect. Account email addresses used for operational notifications are not shared with the other party through messaging.
We may send operational emails about Project Request review status, approval, requests for more information, publication expiration reminders, new Express Interest activity, and new protected messages. Those emails describe that action is waiting and link to signed-in workspace pages. They do not include private message bodies, shared contact payloads, or staff-only notes.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security tooling automatically logs limited technical information (such as IP address and browser user-agent) for basic security purposes, including detecting abuse and enforcing rate limits on public forms. We do not build advertising profiles from this information.
Private messages through Gas Contractor Connect
When a verified Free Seeker Account and a participating published listing use in-platform messaging, Gas Contractor Connect stores the message content, thread metadata, and related moderation records (such as reports and blocks) so both parties can continue the conversation inside the service.
Account email addresses used for notifications are not shared with the other party through messaging. Notification emails describe that a message is waiting and link to the secure signed-in inbox; they do not include the private message body.
Gas Contractor Connect may review reported messages when necessary to address misuse. Enabling messaging does not expand Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab) marketing or outreach permissions.
What appears in the public directory
Only information a provider has submitted for publication and that has passed our listing review appears publicly: company name, headquarters city and state, service areas, capabilities, public description, and — only when the provider has specifically opted in — a website link and a general business phone number.
Private verification details, representative names, direct representative emails and phone numbers, internal review notes, and contact-form submissions are never shown in the public directory.
How we use information
We use the information described above to operate, maintain, and secure the directory and provider workspace; review and verify listing applications and directory eligibility; respond to contact-form inquiries and reports; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of public forms; and maintain accurate records of listing and account activity.
Gas Contractor Connect does not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use listing or contact submissions for unsolicited Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab) sales outreach.
Application source attribution
When you apply to list a company, Gas Contractor Connect may store limited source metadata submitted with that application page visit, such as standard UTM parameters in the page URL, the hostname of the immediate referrer (not the full URL), the current application page path, and a Meta click identifier (fbclid) when it is already present in the URL.
This source metadata is used only to understand which channels bring listing applications. It is stored privately with the application record, is visible to Gas Contractor Connect staff for review, and is not shown in public directory listings. It does not include your form answers beyond what you already submit for the application itself.
This description explains our current product behavior. It is not a guarantee about every third-party tool’s internal processing, and it is not legal advice.
Cambri Compliance LLC and marketing separation
Gas Contractor Connect is operated by Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab), which also offers separate natural-gas compliance and consulting services. Submitting a listing application, creating a provider account, using the directory, or contacting us through the directory does not enroll you in Cambri Compliance LLC marketing or unsolicited sales outreach.
Where an optional Cambri Compliance LLC (opens in a new tab) marketing interest checkbox exists (for example on the listing application), it is opt-in, tracked separately from required Gas Contractor Connect service communications, and unrelated to your listing status. Leaving it unchecked never affects your listing application, review, or account.
Withdrawing optional marketing consent does not prevent required service, verification, account, listing, inquiry, or security communications.
Data retention
We retain listing, application, account, and contact-form information for as long as reasonably needed to operate listings, maintain security and audit history, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and meet legal obligations. Declined, withdrawn, fraudulent, or inactive application records may be retained when reasonably needed for abuse prevention, recordkeeping, or legal purposes.
Deletion requests may not result in removal of information that must reasonably be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or system integrity. Declined or withdrawn applications and closed contact inquiries are not left publicly accessible.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or ask questions about how your information is used, by submitting a request through /contact using the "Privacy or data request" topic.
Provider accounts can review and update most listing information directly in the workspace. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity or your connection to a listing before making changes.
Children's privacy
Gas Contractor Connect is intended for businesses and industry professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek or collect personal information from children under 13.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including database access controls that keep private verification, contact, and account information separate from what is published publicly. No method of storing or transmitting information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the directory evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact us
Questions about this Privacy Policy or your information should be sent through the /contact form using the "Privacy or data request" topic. We do not publish a mailing address, phone number, or support email for the directory at this time.
